How to cure a cold naturally
Winter can be hard can it? It is cold and in some places quite freezing. Drastic change of temperature from the outside into a house or a bar. It is very easy to catch a cold if we are not careful. Event hough a cold is not the worst of the illnesses it is still very uncomfortable and does not let us to be fully alive. So I figured why not share how to cure a cold naturally before it gets worse and before any further medication is needed. In this post I’m going to share with you guys how I try to get over a cold in a natural way and hopefully the tips help you and make you feel better the same way they do for me.
1. Cleanse: watch your face to try and eliminate the toxins and the possible bacteria.
2. Drink Lemon Water: drink a cup of hot lemon water with a teaspoon of honey. This pumps up you energy levels and immunity. The Vit C and antioxidants present in the lemon increase the production of antibodies and white blood cells and honey acts as a cough suppressor and reduces soar throat.
3. Have a good breakfast: One that gives your energy and makes you feel full. Try to have a hot breakfast. Oats is a good option, with cinnamon and honey. You can also drink coffee if this is going to help to be more awake or feel more alive.
4. Relax: have your breakfast in bed or in the sofa while you do some Netflix or read a book. Let your body get some rest, so it focuses on fighting the cold.
5. Stay hydrated: Water helps to clean the toxins from the body and also make the mucus membrane work so they are going to be able to trap dust and any bacteria and prevent them from getting in put lungs.
6. Open your windows: Let the fresh oxygen enter your room, it is important not only to cleanse in the inside but also in the outside and in the room where you are relaxing.
7. Sunlight: if there is any sun, go and be under it for a while. the sun and its vitamin is going to make feel better.
8. Lunch: make sure you prepare something that has anti cold benefits. fo instance pumpkin soup: it has the ability of boosting energy and immunity and also they fight infections, it helps you increase the production of antibodies and white blood cells, thanks to its presence in Vit C and antioxidants.
9. Jasmine Tea: it has respiratory health benefits and helps to eliminate bacterial infections from your body.
10. Detox smoothie: is a perfect way to get vitamins and nutrients inside your body and also get rid of the toxins, bacteria, virus and waste by flushing out from the gastrointestinal tracts. (recipe in the video!)
11. Detox bath: this helps with the cleansing by the pores in our skin, soothes our muscles and also when it evaporates we are going to breathe the content, so we are going to inhale all the anti-cold benefits. (remedy on the video!!)
12. Dinner/tea: have dinner if you feel like it, keep it simple or have another Jasmin tea if you are not feeling very hungry.
